How to Bet with GambetDC In-Person Kiosks
- Tap the screen—no account needed!
- Insert Cash: Kiosk accepts cash only: $1, $ 5, $10, $50, & $100 bills, but does not give change.
- Pick a betting option.
- Place your bet.
- Print and take your bet-slip.
- See if you won! Scan the barcode on your ticket at the kiosk after your games are over and cash out there or at another official GambetDC retailer.

Betting In Person: Detailed How-To
Expand AllPlacing a bet at an in-person kiosk is easy, fast, and fun:
- Verify you are 18 years or older to play.
- No account is needed to play.
- Insert cash into the machine: Kiosk accepts cash only: $1, $ 5, $10, $50, & $100 bills, and kiosk does not give change.
- Select between one of the following betting options:
- Pre-game – All events that have not yet started.
- In-game – All events that have started and are currently in progress.
- Last Minute – All Pre-game events that start within the next hour.
- Feature Markets – Marquee pre-game and in-game events.
- Make Your Betting Selection(s).

- Once you have made your betting selection(s), a bet slip will be generated on the right-hand side of the screen.
- On the bet slip, indicate the amount you want to place for each of your wagers by pressing on the white box associated with each wager and filling out your wager amount on the pop-up screen.
- If making multiple selections, indicate on the bottom of the bet slip whether you would like to parlay your selections or treat them as separate single bets.
- Place your bet(s).
- A paper ticket will print automatically with your selection(s). Take this ticket with you.
- Once all the events on your bet slip have concluded, scan the barcode of your ticket on the machine to see if you have won. Your ticket is valid for 180 days after the conclusion of the last event on your ticket.
- If your ticket has won, you can use your winnings to fund the machine and place bets. Alternatively, if you would like to cash your winnings, do not fund the machine, and take your winning ticket to the GambetDC clerk on-site.
- You can get up to $600 cash payouts at GambetDC retail locations. For amounts above $600, please visit the DC Lottery Prize Center.
Betting In Person with the GambetDC App
- You will be able to pre-select your bet slip before going up to a GambetDC In-Person Kiosk by using the GambetDC mobile app.
- Follow the instructions on How to Bet using the GambetDC app here.
- In the last step, instead of selecting the “Place Bet” button, select the “QR” button.
- A QR code will be generated on your phone.
- Go up to a GambetDC In-Person Kiosk.
- Verify you are 18 years or older to play.
- Insert cash into the machine.
- Scan the QR code on your phone by using the ticket-scanner next to the bill-acceptor.
- A bet slip will be generated on the right-hand side of the screen, with all of the selections and wager amounts you previously made on your phone.
- Place your bet(s).
- A paper ticket will print automatically with your selection(s). Take this ticket with you.
- Once all the events on your bet slip have concluded, scan the barcode of your ticket on the machine to see if you have won. Your ticket is valid for 180 days after the conclusion of the last event on your ticket.
- If your ticket has won, you can use your winnings to fund the machine and place bets. Alternatively, if you would like to cash your winnings, do not fund the machine, and take your winning ticket to the GambetDC clerk on-site.
